IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

…be the Global Talent Acquisition Lead – you are expected to structure and innovate our recruiting processes from the ground up. Our Recruiting team of 4 people is inspired by you and together you will shape the future of our organization with every single new hire. You will set the tone for hiring the best and most diverse team that represents Mercedes-Benz.io’s core values. 

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Designing a premium recruiting strategy that will be scalable for global growth in the tech industry and flexible enough to integrate our core values: equity, inclusion and diversity 
  • Leading a team of inspiring recruiters – together you will identify, build and cultivate trends and processes that will help our teams to meet their challenging ramp up targets. 
  • The refinement of our employer branding and the set-up of an honest value proposition to our future employees – support will be provided by our internal communications team. 
  • Balancing stakeholder needs, as well as setting up and maintaining external and internal partnerships 
  • Managing your own full-cycle recruitment processes, engaging with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Setting up measures to make recruiting and its performance transparent to the company internally e.g. through metrics, dashboards, ambitious goals or simple communication of prioritization. #continouusimprovements 

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

  • 5+ years of expertise in hiring in the tech industry! 
  • The will to win as a team – our recruiting team has unique talents and needs your expertise, the will to experiment and inspiration – joining in on recruiting processes and ‘rolling up the sleeves to get things done’ should be no problem for you. 
  • Proficient skills in English (verbal and written) – Portuguese would be a plus but can be learned in one of our internal classes. 
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills, with proficiency in utilizing data to come up with solid budget decisions

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT US

  • Mercedes-Benz.io develops software and technology for the digital platforms of Mercedes-Benz. We are focused on creating digital experiences for the future of Mercedes-Benz mobility worldwide, developing products for Sales & Marketing.  
  • Our main products are the Mercedes-Benz Website worldwide, the e-commerce platform, digital services and aftersales solutions.   
  • We work in Holacracy  – a “non-classical” framework which represents our operating system within the company. Our setup is based on purpose, circles and roles as well as their specific accountabilities.  

 

This is a full-time position, based in our office in Lisbon. We have a fantastic team with people from all over the world. We encourage frequent collaboration and pairing across disciplines. English is the main working language.
