IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

In your role as a Personalisation Analyst, you will join the Data Insights team, which is responsible for measuring and improving the Mercedes-Benz websites and e-commerce solutions worldwide. This includes a variety of different digital products and services, as well as the E-commerce environment. Or to reframe it: all Mercedes-Benz digital channels, from acquisition to retention.

You will also:

  • become a member of our cross-functional product and data team, and work with the Personalization team to drive the customisation strategy for Mercedes-Benz websites
  • understand business goals and the Mercedes customer journey, consulting decision-makers based on data
  • evaluate and analyse regularly the personalization strategy and performance of Mercedes-Benz websites
  • create relevant personalization use cases based on data and integrated in the Mercedes customer journey
  • Be in close alignment with your Personalization peers for the technical implementation of use cases
  • analyse, validate and visualize data to reveal value-adding insights
  • make personalization efforts more transparent & understandable so products and markets can make customisation a part of their user centric strategy.
  • take an active part in the Scrum framework like plannings, sprints, reviews and retros of the Personalization team

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

  • Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on business studies, math or statistics, media management or digital marketing
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles, Digital Analyst, AB Testing specialist
  • Know-how in customer journey optimisation, funnel-/ conversion optimisation, A/B testing and Personalization
  • To Have a hypothesis- and data-driven attitude
  • Competency in data analysis (statistics), data validation and data visualization
  • Knowledge of analytics toolchain such as Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Skills in database querying languages, such as SQL and DAX
  • Knowledge of Experimentation and Audience Manager tools such as Adobe Target and Salesforce DMP
  • Ability to consult various stakeholder groups independently and confidently

THERE WILL BE BIG SMILES IF YOU

  • Know how in the technical implementation of personalization use cases, from offer code creation, to tracking implementation, collaborating with the Personalization Engineers
  • Experience using tag manager tools for technical implementation of use cases, such as Google Tag Manager
  • Have experience with technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience with technologies such as Python or R

  • Mercedes-Benz.io develops software and technology for the digital platforms of Mercedes-Benz. We are focused on creating digital experiences for the future of Mercedes-Benz mobility worldwide, developing products for Sales & Marketing.  
  • Our main products are the Mercedes-Benz Website worldwide, the e-commerce platform, digital services and after-sales solutions.    
  • We work in Holacracy – a “non-classical” framework which represents our operating system within the company. Our setup is based on purpose, circles and roles as well as their specific accountabilities.  

 

This is a full-time position, based in our office in Lisbon. We have a fantastic team with people from all over the world. We encourage frequent collaboration and pairing across disciplines. English is the main working language.
