At the Concept, Usability & Design circle we create the future digital identity of Mercedes-Benz and support the Communications circle for the development of the Corporate Identity. Our circle creates excellent, innovative and user centered designs for our products and digital services.


  • Conduct user research, review user feedback, and iterate on your work to improve the product
  • Assist in developing information architectures and define interaction processes for new and existing features (big and small)
  • Collaborate with a Product Design lead to create beautiful and polished user interfaces and experiences and evangelise exceptional the design system across the company
  • Be in close alignment with developers and product owners to bring your ideas to life
  • Help manage the design library and components documentation


  • Knowledge about Design Systems
  • Knowledge in design theory: typography, colours, grids, etc.
  • A detail and quality oriented mind
  • Good communication skills to be able to articulate your design decisions to the entire team and our partners
  • To be open to receive and able to give constructive feedback
  • Curiosity and the ability to challenge ideas


  • You have knowledge of UX writing
  • You have previous experience in creating Design Systems
  • You share your impressions of digital touchpoints with Mercedes-Benz during the interview process with us


  • 2/3 months paid internship with a detailed program for a higher learning curve

  • Our main products are the Mercedes-Benz Website worldwide, the e-commerce platform digital services and aftersales solutions.    
  • We work in Holacracy – a “non-classical” framework which represents our operating system within the company. Our setup is based on purpose, circles and roles as well as their specific accountabilities. 


This is a full-time internship, based in our office in Lisbon. We have a fantastic team with people from all over the world. We encourage frequent collaboration and pairing across disciplines.
