At Mercedes-Benz.io, our E-Commerce team focus specifically on the purchasing phase of the customer journey and is dedicated to providing a seamless and luxurious digital sales experience for our customers around the world.

As an integral part of Mercedes-Benz's digital transformation, we lay the foundation for reshaping sales strategies and business processes. Our cloud-based SAP Commerce platform serves as the technological core of our online sales solutions, which we design, operate, and maintain.

With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our program helps Mercedes-Benz stay ahead of the automotive industry, providing customers with the best possible digital buying experience. By working closely with our customers, we ensure that we understand their needs and continuously improve our solutions. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Improve monitoring and help elevating the quality, performance and resiliency of our products
Engage in and improve existing services, through deployment, operation and refinement of current implementations
Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and performance
Develop and maintain tools for automating operational tasks to reduce manual intervention, minimize errors and improve efficiency
Document procedures, best practices and knowledge about the products
Be supported and mentored by experienced SREs

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED

Have working knowledge of Java/Kotlin
Have the ability to debug and propose changes to application code and deployment processes
Automate routine tasks
Have working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
Have a degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience
