Celebrating MB.ioneers: The Transformative Power of the R&A Awards – Individual Award Winners
At Mercedes-Benz.io, the R&A Awards exemplify our dedication to recognizing the invaluable contributions of our MB.ioneers, providing a momentous opportunity to celebrate the achievements, challenges, and resilience of our team. This initiative serves as a testament to the power of appreciation within our organization, fostering a culture where our MB.ioneers feel seen, valued, and integral to our collective success.
But who better tell us all about this than the winners of the individual awards.
Daniel Costa, Collaboration Award

Our Recognition & Appreciation Awards are a really a cool way to raise a team's morale. It's all about giving it up for those awesome teams and folks who bring innovation, creativity, impact, and teamwork to the table. It’s not just about recognizing the work accomplished; it’s about creating a vibe where we feel connected while spreading positive energy. These awards motivate the whole team to be at its best and make our workplace humming with success!
Winning this prize was like a wild rollercoaster of emotions! When I hit the stage, I was so stunned/speechless, I could not even hear what Sílvia Bechmann and Pedro Salgueiro were saying – way out of my comfort zone. The aftermath was amazing, but let us get real, this prize is not just about me. It's about my incredible team. Their maturity lets me go beyond and help others. Without them, giving my best would not be possible. Thank you DSDBook!
Tiago Santos, Excellence Award

The Recognition & Appreciation Awards are a great opportunity for MB.ioneers to show how much we care for people in this company and to share with each other our achievements and our greatest moments during the year.
Unexpected, unforgettable, and emotional. Being recognised by the company and my peers was a unique experience and a very special moment. Without them, this would not be possible and being able to see such a positive impact from my side in the community is very rewarding. For me, it also shows that we always have room for learning, sharing and improving ourselves, enabling and motivating others along the ride.
Luís Mendes, Impact Award

Finding myself among the nominees for the Recognition and Appreciation Awards in the "Impact" category and being measured against a list of highly esteemed individuals whom I deeply admire, and call friends was the highlight of my year.
Nevertheless, I feel a bit awkward winning this prize. It celebrates the ability to deliver and cause lasting impact in the organization, and this is not something that one can achieve alone.
This prize is just possible due to the amount of commitment, and teamwork from a huge set of individuals that are passionate about their work.
On a different note, the presence of new faces in this year's Recognition & Appreciation Awards brings me joy, as it signifies a growing desire among newcomers to drive positive change within the organization.
